2010.06.27-F1.09.Spain.Race.BBC2_UK-TDMK1.m4v Jake Humphrey presents coverage of the ninth race of the season, held on the Valencia Street Circuit (Start time 1.00pm). Rubens Barrichello took the honours here last year, succeeding his Brazilian compatriot Felipe Massa, who won the race the first time it was held on this circuit in 2008. Sebastian Vettel is on pole. Now encoded as 'MP4 All Play'... As a departure from the DivX files which I have uploaded in the past, I've made the decision to get with the 21st century & start encoding with the following specs this year; MP4 - 640x352 - 800Kb/s H264 Video - 44.1KHz/128Kbps Stereo AAC Audio My belief is this is the best all round setup, and hopefully you will agree! This video will play on a computer with VLC, XBMC, XBox360, PS3, iPad all iPhones - enjoy the show... :) General Complete name : 2010.06.27-F1.09.Spain.Race.BBC2_UK-TDMK1.m4v Format : MPEG-4 Format profile : Base Media / Version 2 Codec ID : mp42 File size : 1.28 GiB Duration : 3h 16mn Overall bit rate : 931 Kbps Encoded date : UTC 2010-06-27 19:33:06 Tagged date : UTC 2010-06-27 22:49:54 Writing application : HandBrake 0.9.4 2009112300 Video ID : 1 Format : AVC Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec Format profile : Main@L3.0 Format settings, CABAC : Yes Format settings, ReFrames : 2 frames Codec ID : avc1 Codec ID/Info : Advanced Video Coding Duration : 3h 16mn Bit rate mode : Variable Bit rate : 800 Kbps Width : 640 pixels Height : 352 pixels Display aspect ratio : 16:9 Frame rate mode : Variable Frame rate : 25.000 fps Minimum frame rate : 12.500 fps Maximum frame rate : 25.000 fps Color space : YUV Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0 Bit depth : 8 bits Scan type : Progressive Bits/(Pixel*Frame) : 0.142 Stream size : 1.09 GiB (86%) Writing library : x264 core 79 Encoding settings : cabac=1 / ref=2 / deblock=1:0:0 / analyse=0x1:0x111 / me=hex / subme=6 / psy=1 / psy_rd=1.0:0.0 / mixed_ref=0 / me_range=16 / chroma_me=1 / trellis=0 / 8x8dct=0 / cqm=0 / deadzone=21,11 / chroma_qp_offset=-2 / threads=6 / nr=0 / decimate=1 / mbaff=0 / constrained_intra=0 / bframes=2 / b_pyramid=0 / b_adapt=1 / b_bias=0 / direct=1 / wpredb=0 / wpredp=2 / keyint=250 / keyint_min=25 / scenecut=40 / rc_lookahead=40 / rc=abr / mbtree=1 / bitrate=800 / ratetol=1.0 / qcomp=0.60 / qpmin=10 / qpmax=51 / qpstep=4 / ip_ratio=1.40 / aq=1:1.00 Encoded date : UTC 2010-06-27 19:33:06 Tagged date : UTC 2010-06-27 22:49:54 Color primaries : BT.601-6 525, BT.1358 525, BT.1700 NTSC, SMPTE 170M Transfer characteristics : BT.709-5, BT.1361 Matrix coefficients : BT.601-6 525, BT.1358 525, BT.1700 NTSC, SMPTE 170M Audio ID : 2 Format : AAC Format/Info : Advanced Audio Codec Format version : Version 4 Format profile : LC Format settings, SBR : No Codec ID : 40 Duration : 3h 16mn Bit rate mode : Variable Bit rate : 128 Kbps Maximum bit rate : 189 Kbps Channel(s) : 2 channels Channel positions : Front: L R Sampling rate : 44.1 KHz Stream size : 179 MiB (14%) Language : English Encoded date : UTC 2010-06-27 19:33:06 Tagged date : UTC 2010-06-27 22:49:50
Sorry for the late upload, this has been a logistical nightmare to do as I'm 300 miles away from home!
Looks like the BBC changed the programs around on the BBCi service in favour of the football, I'll attempt a web rip of the forum when I get home later on in the week...

No worries at all on the slight delay, just makes you appreciate it more! Thanks for sorting this one out. Itll go nicely with my dinner :D
At last!!! Been dodging news, sports and papers like crazy, since yesterday. TYWM.
Very good job tdmk1, but is possible that you use "iPod 5G support" in "HandBrake" options (tick the option on the major screen), now I have a iPod classic (7th Generation) and I can´t watch your videos in it, always I need to re-encode the videos with HandBrake again before watch it in my iPod.
Thank you in advance
Thank you in advance
thanks man, thanks to the BBC I recorded a ridiculous soap series instead of the to be recorded GP.
kudos to tdmk1! :D
thank you TDMK1.. perfect
300 miles away from home... and your still the man!! Thanx dude!
Thank You tdmk1 for your effort! - worth waiting for!
For the record, this is the European Grand Prix, not the Spanish. Perhaps you should amend the title so it can be searched for.
Many thanks for upload from 300 miles away from home, much appreciated:)

Jake Humphrey blog: "Now to answer some of the (at times a little rude) comments I received after our F1 Forum fell off-air, we were certainly not intentionally failing to broadcast so that we could watch the football. We share a compound with the world's TV companies and the power just kept failing. It unfortunately meant we were unable to continue to broadcast forum" :(

@Incognito2781 - if you read Pcar's post and understood what he wrote. you would see that Jake Humphrey himself said that BBC will not be broadcasting the post race forums anymore.
Thanks man...Great job !!

Perfect A/V quality as usual, much better than the qualifying rip. The picture just looked so much brighter and crisper on my 50" plasma!!
